Online privacy policies
Though the US does not have a similar law, there are some basic guidelines you should use and share with your kids.
- Think before you share your information. Once you release your information, you are at the mercy of the company that you have released that information to. Moreover if you release your information publicly everyone has access to it.
- Realize that once your information is out there, you have a digital presence. That digital presence is very hard to modify or erase. These online identities can be sold often times without your knowledge or consent.
- Until we have similar laws to the GPDR, pay attention to you and your kid’s online information.
Protect your family and kids from inappropriate content and websites with complete parental controls.
Block unwanted sites and content. Keep your family safe!
